"Catch the Wave of Learning at Central Park Elementary!"

Welcome to Central Park Elementary:  Where Leaders are Made!

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Jennifer Wallace, and I am the principal at Central Park Elementary School.   I am honored to be a part of the Monett School District and look forward to our partnership as we help our children learn and grow as productive third and fourth graders.  This year marks my thirteenth year in the field of education.  I taught third grade for four years, was an Instructional Coach for seven years, and am starting my second year as a building principal.  I’m proud to say that all twelve years have been with the Monett R-1 School District.  I love being a part of this great district and community!

Central Park has a fantastic group of teachers and support staff, and I am blessed to work with them everyday.  At Central Park our kids come first; so when you walk into our doors, we will make every effort to make you feel a part of our family and ask that you become a part of helping our students grow and find success!

Central Park consists of eight sections of third grade and eight sections of fourth grade to house approximately 365 students. Our Central Park staff has high expectations for our students. We love and support our students academically, socially, and emotionally. We offer programs to assist all areas and to meet the needs of our students as we strive to help every child find joy and success each day. We focus on student learning!

We encourage parents and community members to volunteer at Central Park. We are proud to be a part of the wonderful, family-centered community of Monett and hope that you will find some time to come and spend some time in our building. We have a small PTO organization at Central Park and ask that all Central Park parents be active in the organization. If you would like to be a part of our parent group, please let your child's teacher know or contact us in the office, and we will add you to our parent contact list. Together we can do so much for our children!

Please keep watching our website and Facebook page as we continue to add and provide you with information to help you stay informed about what is happening at Central Park. Please note the link on our web page entitled:  21st Century Learning Resources.  It will provide you with links to great resources for you and your child.  We are a progressive school that provides many technology opportunities and resources for our students.

I encourage you to stay in close contact with your child’s teacher so you will have specific classroom information to help you and your child as the year progresses.  Please feel free to contact the office at Central Park anytime you need additional information.  The office number is 354-2168.

Again, I look forward to working with you and your child!

Sincerely,

Jennifer Wallace

Principal
